The Coastal Immersion
Four days immersed in the South Devon coast
Yoga · Hike · Swim · Sauna
Four days to move, explore and properly immerse yourself in the South Devon coast. We’ll practise yoga each day, hike spectacular stretches of the South West Coast Path and take guided swims in the sea, with plenty of time in between to slow down, eat well and recover.
Our retreat base in Torcross sits in an extraordinary spot between the three-mile sweep of Slapton Sands and Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve, with water in almost every direction. Step outside and you’re seconds from the beach, the sea and the coast path.

Who's this retreat for?
We might arrive as strangers, but we already have one thing in common: we feel more alive outside.
On the beach. In the sea. Walking a wild stretch of coast. Moving our bodies, breathing fresh air and feeling the weather on our skin. This retreat is for people who know that being in nature does something to them — clears the head, lifts the mood and brings them back to themselves.
You don’t need to be an expert yogi, a long-distance hiker or a hardened sea swimmer. Just come with a love of being outdoors, a willingness to join in and an appetite for experiencing this extraordinary stretch of coast.
Four days moving, swimming, eating, laughing and slowing down together — brought together by the sea.
Four days on the coast
The Yoga
Our yoga is much more than simply following a class. Natalie’s alignment-based teaching, influenced by Iyengar yoga, makes each session part practice, part workshop — exploring not just what we do, but why, and what changes when we pay closer attention.
Expect intelligent, playful practice, plenty of props, experimentation and laughter. You’ll leave feeling more in your body, understanding more about how you move, and with ideas and techniques to take home to your own practice.
All levels are welcome, including complete beginners.
The Hiking
Step outside and you’re straight onto the South West Coast Path, with some of the most spectacular walking in South Devon on your doorstep. We’ll spend our days following clifftops, sweeping bays and hidden coves — big sea views, wind in your hair and that brilliant feeling of being properly out in the elements.
We’ll cover up to five miles a day at a relaxed pace, carrying swimmers and a packed lunch, with plenty of stops to swim, eat, explore and simply take it all in.
All of our hikes are guided.
The Swimming
This is a retreat where you don’t just look at the sea — you get in it. We’ll swim from some of South Devon’s most beautiful beaches and hidden coves, from the clear waters of Soar Mill Cove to the wild sweep of Great Mattiscombe Sands. Beaches that only the locals know!
Every swim is professionally led by an SLSGB-qualified lifeguard and adapted to the sea conditions and the group. Afterwards, it’s hooded towels, hot tea and that brilliant post-swim glow — with a beach sauna session included during the retreat too.

What our guests say
I am about to come to my third September retreat as a solo traveller. It truly is the most wonderful reset. I was initially nervous about coming alone but the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. For me the weekend is a perfect fusion of so many of my favourite things: yoga, swimming, hiking, good company — and food!
Fiona
The location and landscape are absolutely breathtaking. Nathalie’s warmth, generosity and professionalism truly stood out. Everything felt held with care, calm and intention. It’s rare to find such a unique combination of yoga, open-water swimming and time in nature, all delivered at this level of quality. A genuinely niche and magical experience.
Sophie
Absolutely fantastic yoga, hike and swim retreat. I cannot recommend it enough. All beautifully curated by the amazing Natalie. The food was also awesome. And in such a beautiful place. 5*
