Yoga

During your yoga retreat in Slapton, Natalie (your host and resident Yogi), will run multiple classes every day, combining a mixture of energising and restorative sessions. We always offer wonderful relaxation experiences as well such as a Yoga Nidra and a Sound Journey.

Classes will take place in our purpose built studio with its dedicated yoga wall for ultra deep stretches, or outside on the large terrace enjoying fabulous countryside and ocean views.

Small class sizes mean a more personal experience, giving you the opportunity to learn the importance of alignment, while also getting the chance to ask questions and master various movements.

Before each retreat, you'll get the chance to privately discuss your ability and any specific health concerns with Natalie, ensuring that each class is carefully adapted for all. Find out more about Natalie.

Hike

The world famous South West Coast Path is just a short walk away from our retreat base in the peaceful village of Slapton. Each day, after a nourishing smoothie we'll pull on our hiking boots and trek across Devon's rolling fields and dramatic cliff tops.

We're always armed with plenty of hot drinks and snacks, making the most of hidden beaches, secret coves and some of UK's most beautiful coastline.

We'll hike the coastal path whatever the weather, covering up to 5 miles per day so it's recommended you pack decent walking footwear, waterproofs, a sturdy rucksack and your swim gear for our wild dips.

Check out our recommend kit list for full details.

Swim

For the adventurous among us, there are opportunities for memorable and invigorating wild swimming experiences.

At Yoga Field & Sea we dip in the ocean every day, all year round, to take advantage of the many health benefits cold water offers our minds and bodies.

The water will be at its warmest at this time of year, so following a safety briefing we'll head straight into the revitalising salt water. Afterwards, cosy up in a hooded towel with a flask of hot tea, both essential for the post swim warm-up.

All water activities are led by our certified team of water sports experts who live and breathe the ocean life here in South Devon. You can find out more about the team, here.
